This immersive community education course invites you to explore the mysterious world of paranormal phenomena through the lens of personal experience. Topics include telepathy, precognition, clairvoyance, psychokinesis, near-death experiences, reincarnation, apparitional encounters, angels and demons, and alien/UFO contact.
Rather than focusing on belief, this course centers on experience as the most powerful teacher. Students will be encouraged to share their own encounters, while the instructor introduces key literature, cultural perspectives, and scientific and philosophical theories that seek to explain these phenomena.
Together, we’ll read from suggested books, engage in lively discussions, and hear from guest speakers—including psychologists, philosophers, clergy, psychics, and other surprise visitors—who bring diverse viewpoints and expertise. A field trip to a local paranormal site will offer a chance to connect theory with lived experience.
