A mat class for beginning and intermediate levels that incorporates the best of both forms of exercise with a variety of poses and strengthening work. Balance, posture, and flexibility are enhanced in a carefully paced routine with modifications to meet a variety of needs while challenging the fitness buff who needs to work their core. A mat and strap for stretching are needed. The ability to stand, balance, and change positions on the mat are prerequisites for this type of class.
